Named "President 100," the boat was unveiled on July 7, 2025, a landmark event occurring just under four months after Pinnacle Marine forged an agreement with compatriot shipping company Pacific International Lines (PIL). This collaboration is centered on a comprehensive long-term sea trial of a B100 biofuel-powered harbor craft.
Following its launch, the President 100 embarked on 1,000 hours of rigorous real-time research trials, commencing July 8. These trials are designed to thoroughly evaluate B100 biofuel's performance within Singaporean waters. A collaborative effort underpins these crucial tests, involving key industry players such as China Classification Society (CCS), Weichai Singapore, the Marine Energy and Sustainability Research Department of Nanyang Technological University (MESD), PIL, Abo Shoten, Abo Singapore, Wilmar International, Gulf Marine, Amspec Testing & Services, and AYK Engineering and Consulting.
Operated by Prestige Ocean, the utility boat will meticulously collect data on emissions, fuel behavior, and overall operational performance throughout the trial period.
